ILGRA Submits Motion for Preliminary Injunction

On February 6, 2023 ILGRA submitted its motion for preliminary injunction in federal court in the southern district if Illinois. This motion seeks injunctive relief for all Illinois residents from HB5471 Enrolled Public Act 102-1116. We believe we have a high probability of obtaining a preliminary injunction due to our likelihood of success based on the merits of the case. We have not yet been assigned a court date to make our arguments on this motion. We post any relevant information here.
